Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 16, 2026
AdYouThink (“we”, “us”) is AI software that runs your ads at adyouthink.com. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Questions? Email [email protected].
The short version
- We collect only what we need to plan, run and report on your ads.
- Your ads run in your own Google Ads and Meta ad accounts, and you can remove our access at any time.
- We never sell your data, and we don’t use it for advertising.
- AI providers process your data only to do the work for you, and they don’t train their models on it.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, your email address and your password (stored only as a secure hash).
- Business details you give us: your website, goal, monthly budget, countries, brief and your answers to our questions.
- Public information about your business: what our AI reads on your website, your public social pages and your competitors’ public pages.
- Ad account data, once you connect an account: account names and IDs, campaigns, ads, budgets and results such as spend, clicks and conversions, and whether your tracking (Meta pixel, Google tag) is set up.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited and error logs, to run the service securely.
How we use it
- to research your business and make your media plan
- to create, launch, adjust and pause your ads, within the budget you set
- to show you your results and send your weekly report and service emails
- to keep the service working and secure, and to help you when you ask for support
We don’t use your data for anything else, and we never use it to advertise to anyone.
Google user data
When you connect your Google Ads account, you sign in on Google’s own page and allow AdYouThink to manage your Google Ads (Google’s “adwords” permission).
- What we access: your Google Ads accounts, campaigns, ads, budgets and their results.
- How we use it: only to create and manage the campaigns you approve, and to read results for your dashboard and weekly report.
- Who sees it: our systems, and the AI providers that process it for us to do this work. People at AdYouThink read it only when you ask us to, when security requires it, or when the law requires it.
- What we never do: sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train general AI models.
- Removing access: disconnect it in AdYouThink, or remove AdYouThink at myaccount.google.com/permissions. We then stop using it and delete what we stored within 30 days.
AdYouThink’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Meta data
When you connect your Meta ad account, you allow access on Meta’s own page. We use it the same way: to create and manage the ads you approve and to read their results. You can remove our access at any time in your Meta business settings. We then delete what we stored within 30 days.
Who we share it with
Only with providers that help us run the service, and only what they need for that work:
- AI providers: Anthropic (Claude), and other model makers through OpenRouter. We use only providers and settings that don’t train their models on your data.
- Hosting and network: Hetzner (our servers) and Cloudflare (network, security and image storage).
- Email: Google Workspace and Resend.
- Scheduled work: Inngest, which runs jobs such as your daily checks.
- Payments: our payment provider, when you pay us.
We also share data when the law requires it, or to protect our users or the service. If AdYouThink is sold or merged, your data moves with it under this policy. We never sell your personal data or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Where your data is stored
Our servers are in Finland, in the European Union. Some of our providers process data in the United States and other countries, under safeguards such as the EU’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Account and business details: while your account is open, and deleted within 30 days after you close it.
- Ad account data: deleted within 30 days after you disconnect the account or close your account.
- Technical logs: only as long as needed to keep the service working and secure.
We keep longer only what the law requires, such as billing records.
Security
All traffic uses HTTPS. The keys that let us manage your ad accounts are encrypted when stored, and only our systems can use them.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data at any time: email [email protected]. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or California), the law gives you these rights and others, such as objecting to some uses. We honor them for everyone. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies on our site.
Children
AdYouThink is for businesses and isn’t meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update this page and the date at the top. For important changes, we email you first.
